We use a variety of different stone, including Red St Bees Sandstone and Yellow Woodkirk Sandstone. As a Wirral based stone mason the yellow sandstone we use was quarried in and around Stoughton Woods, Bebington Wirral. This is reclaimed stone which we salvage from demolition sites. For our stone masonry we use a variety of reclaimed stone.

Known for its warm and neutral tones, Buff Sandstone is a popular choice for stone masonry as it’s durable and easy to work with. You’ll often find that Buff Sandstone is used for stone cladding, stone walls and more.
For our stone masonry projects we use Red St Bees Sandstone. This durable stone, often deep red or pink in colour is relatively easy to cut, carve and shape, making it ideal for a wide variety of stone mason projects.
We use Derbyshire Gritstone in a variety of our stone masonry projects. This coarse-grained sandstone is tough and dense, making it ideal for stone walling, stone steps and more. With a variety of tones, Derbyshire Gritstone typically has grey and brown hues and is very visually appealing.
